The project aims to enable ARIJ to continue offering its services to the Palestinian institutions as well as the Palestinian community and its integrated research program, through covering part of ARIJ’s operational costs which guarantee its sustainability under current situation of uncertainty and crisis management.
Thus the program is to improve ARIJ outreach to the public, NGOs, scientific and international community through awareness campaigns, socio-economic development, mass media, workshops, electronic dissemination of information, and national authorities by the provision of information, maps, land use data, policy recommendations, as well as training, knowledge, and decision support systems. Furthermore, among SDC objectives is to develop the institute’s income generating services to secure the long-term sustainability of the institute through executing consultancies, selling publications and other services.
