The project aims to strengthen local civil society organizations (CSOs) in the PPI-targeted provinces increase capability, undertake social accountability activities to enhance the capability, responsiveness and accountability of Al-Ram, Hebron, Nablus, and Jericho municipalities in the four governorates, and positively impact on the achievement of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) within targeted communities. In its fourth year , the project will enable and empower ARIJ and CSOs to research integrity approaches and advocate for better public service delivery, increase the capability of Al-Ram, Hebron, Nablus, and Jericho monitors and change makers, and PPI partners in participatory governance, and improve public service delivery meeting the needs and wants of the people in Al-Ram, Hebron, Nablus, and Jericho, especially poor and vulnerable groups. Additionally, baseline data on public services and integrity indicators in the areas of water and sanitation, and solid waste management will be available for public access.
