This paper describes the process of establishing an Environmental Information System (EIS) for the Palestinian West Bank districts which was accomplished lately by the Applied Research Institute - Jerusalem. The EIS consists of an integrated environmental database with a Geographic Information System (GIS) system that allows easy access of information, data retrieval, data dissemination, data analysis and environmental modeling.
