Assessing the Pollution of the West Bank Water Resources

 

The paper discusses the pollution of water in the West Bank,  by presenting facts about the increasing the salinity of the lower Jordan River, pollution from wastewater, wastewater quality, and wastewater treatment. It then shows the role of the Israeli colonies in causing water pollution, in addition to pollution caused by  agricultural practices, municipal solid waste and industrial activities. The paper also talks about the industrial zones, and pollution caused by gas stations.
