Improving the capacities of local authorities to develop and implement sustainable energy efficiency practices and renewable demonstration actions
Tubas – Palestine
October 12, 2016 Development and construction of the photovoltaic systems has officially began on site in Tubas. The contract team (Excellent Systems Company), under the supervision of the Applied research Institute – Jerusalem (ARIJ) and the Tubas Municipality, started implementing the PV system on the Tubas municipality building. This is the first of six building structures that will receive the net-metering solar system; the systems are designed specifically to fit the needs of each individual facility. Once construction is finished, a series of tests, inspections, and reports will be done before eventually handing the new systems over to the Tubas Municipality.
This activity comes within the project activities of “Improving the capacities of local authorities to develop and implement sustainable energy efficiency practices and renewable demonstration actions”.
