This project aims to provide targeted households with green energy enough to cover all house needs, while helping preserve the environment, generate electricity and at the same time save money. It also aims to raise the awareness of the targeted community on energy efficiency and saving techniques as well as green energy. By targeting Arab Al Rashayida Village of Bethlehem Governorate, the project will achieve its objectives of lighting 6 houses through green energy, and will provide 800 households with 100 solar lights. In addition, awareness workshops on energy alternatives will be conducted, and 5 people will be trained on solar light operation and maintenance. Furthermore, a sustainability plan for solar energy panels will be developed.
