The goal of the project is the adoption of sustainable development mechanisms that improve the socioeconomic conditions of rural communities; by introducing environmentally sounds practices and innovative irrigation technologies that optimize the use of conventional and non-conventional food security and generating income with youth and women involvement in the entrepreneurship framework.


The project aims to deliver these goals by achieving three objectives – O1 Enhancing green and environmental practices to reduce on fresh water through irrigating crops by treated wastewater O2: Adopting new irrigation technology to optimize the use of limited resources of irrigation and increasing home garden crop technology O3: Establishing sustainable community market (CM) to market the women coops products with youth effective engagement
