The main objective of the project is to support the restoration of damaged agricultural assets and productive capacities of farmers and herders affected by external shocks through in kind and cash assistance for livelihood support (post 90-day response). More specifically the project aims to: strengthen needs identification and assessments emerging of demolitions and settler violence; provide timely, high quality and predictable response to demolitions and settler violence; ensure lesson learning on interventions responding to demolitions; and contribute to advocacy efforts on demolitions and settler violence. The project’s objectives will be achieved through conducting many activities including: conducting needs assessments in close coordination with stakeholders, validation and verification of needs covering Hebron and Bethlehem Governorates of the West Bank, following-up on all stages of rehabilitation/reconstruction progress, assisting beneficiaries with practical and technically sound solutions, and conducting legal risk analysis for each case and suggest mitigation factors.
