This project aims to study, investigate, analyze, and document the socio-economic conditions and needed programs and activities to mitigate the impact of current unsecured political, economic and social conditions in Qalqylia, Salfit & Nablus Governorates. Several workshops will be held to brainstorm the needs for each of the targeted geo-agricultural areas. The final findings focus on developing a project portfolio for different interventions, including the geographical distributions and activities. Each community is examined through the completion of a baseline survey which measures socio-economic conditions, employment, agricultural activities, types of land use/land cover, impact of occupation practices and needs for human resources and infrastructural development, especially in agriculture activities. Consequently, an integrated, developmental and logical framework is formulated through which these needs are addressed. Additionally, ARIJ is going to develop land use/land cover GIS system through developing specialized maps on community level. Based on the resulted information, a web-based village profile including all the socio- economic information, demographic data, developmental needs and maps is developed and published for each of these communities.
