Ending Date: December 2024

This project aims to build resilience among marginalized children and vulnerable communities in Palestine, focusing on food security, sustainable livelihoods, and environmental health. Benefiting 3,500 individuals (2,102 adults and 1,478 children), it focuses on inclusive and sustainable approaches to climate resilience.

In 2024, efforts will support two selected communities. Activities include training caregivers and community members on climate impacts, promoting safer, chemical-free farming, and supporting water harvesting and crop diversity. Additional environmental initiatives aim to raise awareness of climate change’s impact on ecosystems, with community-led projects for cleaner, greener spaces, such as public parks and recycling programs.

The project also enhances climate resilience through smart agricultural practices. Small farmers and communities will receive training in climate-smart techniques, including hydroponics and adaptive farming methods suitable for women and people with disabilities. These efforts aim to foster sustainable, innovative agricultural systems that address food insecurity and support community health and well-being.
