The main output of this project is to implement water  productivity  improvement at a watershed level through practicing research demonstrations on the farmer’s olive groves. The interventions will focus on piloting a range of in-situ water harvesting based orchard agriculture (olive trees) while  monitoring and analyzing on-site soil-water-agro-ecosystem processes to improve knowledge, better practices and supporting decision making. These interventions would contribute to enhance water productivity and socio-ecological resilience to climate change and drought through gender-responsive community-based integrated management of  water and natural resources. The project will also contribute to the engagement and capacity building of targeted communities in the selected areas form Jenin and Tubas Governorates.
