The “Innovative Women and Youth Entrepreneurship Hub for Green Investment and Circular Economy in Palestine” launched by the Applied Research Institute (ARIJ) – Jerusalem and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation, seeks to address climate change and economic instability in Palestine. The project empowers women and youth, especially entrepreneurs and women’s cooperatives, to engage in the circular economy, focusing on sustainable job creation and income sources.

Over two years, the project will promote sustainable practices like waste reduction, renewable energy use, water conservation, and urban agriculture. It will support the use of recyclable materials, biogas energy, and ICT-enabled smart agriculture. Training and resources will be provided to foster green business practices among new ventures. The project also plans to use AI to optimize resources and increase crop yields.

Through partnerships with business incubators, academic institutions, and research organizations, the project aims to build a support network that facilitates resource sharing, reduces costs, and improves market access. By focusing on women and youth, the project strengthens community resilience and fosters sustainable development, creating a green economy in Palestine.
