The project aims to economically and socially empower vulnerable women and youth (female and male) in the West Bank. The project intends to directly reach 5,704 (3,013 women and 2,691 men) people and indirectly benefit to 211,448 people.

The project is expected to achieve the following outcomes:

Outcome 1: Gender-specific barriers to women and youth’s economic empowerment are reduced.
Outcome 2: Women and youth entrepreneurs are supported to establish, sustain and grow their enterprises.
Outcome 3: Female and male farmers engage more profitably and meaningfully in agriculture value chains.
Outcome 4: Regional and global learning and innovation on women’s economic empowerment facilitated.

The project complements and builds on two ongoing projects focusing on (1) inclusive market systems and value chain and (2) female and youth entrepreneurship. It also builds on the innovative work of the Regional Applied Economic Empowerment Hub.
