The book presents the geopolitical status of Jerusalem Governorate. It discusses how Palestinian resources like agricultural areas, forests and water are isolated by this segregation plan. The book also includes a historical background of the changing boundaries of Jerusalem Governorate, and the expanding Israeli settlements between 1996-2005. In addition, the book presents the military orders in the area, and the Israeli colonization activities including settlements’ outposts, and the Israeli terminals isolating the city, like Rachel (Gilo 300), Mazmuria, Qalandiya, and Ras Abu Sbetan (Hasidim). Furthermore, information about bypass roads, Israeli checkpoints, the segregation wall, future development plans, and the impact of all these on the social life, economy, and demography are presented.
