The Middle East is one of the most water poor and water stressed regions of the globe. While the region is home to 5% of people of the world, it has less than 1% of its renewable fresh water. The paper discusses water crisis in the Middle East and the role of water in the peace process. It also proposes ideas to solve this problem.
