The aim of the project is to provide an overview over the current existing data and research on the Israeli export of the Palestinian virtual water which violates the international law that prohibits the occupying power for exploiting an occupied territory resources. The study will be a compilation of the desegregated data available in various publications and languages and will focus on Israeli settlements in Jordan Valley and northern Dead Sea and exports that require water to be produced. This study will be part of a long term effort to influence the European Union guidelines on settlement labeling which are expected to be published by the end of 2013.
