The main objective of this project is to Strengthening local capacities in emergency preparedness, response, and risk reduction with partners, local governments and communities, in West Bank , Bethlehem Governorate ( AL-Khader, Nahhalin, Battir, Wad-Fukkin, Al Walaja, Husan) , Masafer Yatta and the Nothern part of Jordan Valley ( Bardala, Kardala, and Ein El Beida).
It is expected that the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) in the most vulnerable areas/ communities in Bethlehem Governorate, Masafer Yatta and the Nothern part of Jordan Valley to be finalized by end of December 2017, and ARIJ to be able and committed to respond in the West Bank at large in case of major emergency high magnitude disaster and to be prepared for sudden emergency that are reaching beyond the suggested communities.
