This project, funded by the Heinrich B?ll Stiftung (Arab Middle East Office – Ramallah), aims at raising awareness campaigns for combating poverty and climate change for the citizens of Jub-Altheib Village in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. This project will also provide practical solution for clean, renewable energy and energy saving. The project will be tackling the civil society activists in Palestine, members in the poverty coalition in Palestine and the citizens of Jub-Atheib near Hebron. Several workshops shall be conducted for the awareness campaigns for combating poverty and climate change.Subsequently, in order to serve the sustainability of the project, awareness materials will be widely distributed on all beneficiaries mainly 2000 copies of climate change and poverty brochures as well as 1500 posters of Jub-Altheib Village.It is worth mentioning that this project's workshops will complement the project entitled "Utilization of solar energy in lightening Jub-Altheib village in the West Bank" conducted by ARIJ and Global Environmental Facility (GEF) installing solar energy to light Jub-Altheib Village.
