The Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church granted ARIJ funds to Improve food security to families in Bethlehem Governorate through the provision of improved irrigation farming methods.


This project will provide 39 households with the necessary tools and knowledge to help them mitigate the problems of occupation, economic shocks, unemployment and poverty. The agro-production system (wicking system) will allow families to produce food even on roof top of their houses, with quick impact on food insecurity reduction in semi-rural and urban families of Bethlehem Governorate with main focus on women headed households.
