The project builds on the achievements, results and challenges obtained from the implementation of the project entitled “A replicable model of affordable renewable energy for poor-communities in Bethlehem-Palestine” and funded by SIEMENPUU FOUNDATION and EKOenergy’s Climate Fund. This project aims to expand on the previous work and achievements in providing renewable and new source of affordable energy to an additional 4 resource-poor households.

The project will install, manage and operate 4 PV systems with a total capacity of 20 kWp. The 4 PV systems (5 kilo watt each) will be installed to serve approximately 80% of the energy needs of the resource-poor households.
