The paper discusses the reasons why Israel should not join the EU & the Nato, and basis its argument on international law, and the laws of the EU itself. Some of the reasons presented in the paper include: Israel’s colonial activities which are against international law, Israel’s illegal acquisition of land by force, forbidding civilians the right to return to their homes following the end of armed conflict, illegal population transfer, illegal practice of collective punishment, practice of racism, illegal military occupation, and violations of human rights. In addition, the paper presents Israel’s colonial activities, wall constructions and then points out how these are against international law.
