The overall objective is contributing to the increased access of improved water sources through the rehabilitation of six household cisterns and its catchments areas in three localities of Bethlehem Governorate to better access to water for domestic purposes mainly for drinking water. The rehabilitation process includes, the development of rainwater collection providing clean and potable water from cisterns; providing the inhabitants with needed water naturally, especially in the warm season when the availability of water becomes limited. In addition, to increasing the water availability for the families, the project contributes in reducing family economic pressure for water expenditures. Moreover, onsite training at the household level raising awareness with regards to water management will be conducted.
